Terms and Conditions (.ir), Appendix 2: WHOIS Policy

As of January 7 th , 2023, IRNIC WHOIS Query does not contain the details of the holder of the domain name or other administrative, bill or technical contact for the privacy purposes. The only information which is shown in WHOIS is Domain Name Server.

Note also that data not published on the WHOIS but supplied for the purpose of domain registration could be made available to appropriate authorities under court order or for the purpose of Dispute Resolution process or some entities by providing required documents.

In case of any changes to the items which is to be shown on WHOIS, the holders of the previously registered domain names shall have the right to cancel their respective domain names and refund the remaining registration fee for the rest of its valid period.
